I decided to hold a contest. This contest thing is new to me, so I hope people will participate and I hope it goes well. Here are the rules:

1) It MUST be a written work. It can have art to go with it, but the written part is what I am looking for.

2) It must be no less than one and a half pages and no more than five pages on a Microsoft Word document.

3) It will have to be connected to one of the following three stories:
The Emptiness Inside
Chain Link Fence
The Dream Story

4) It must fit with the basic idea I have planned for the corresponding story.

5) It should not have any references to any other stories.

6) Only one entry is allowed per story. A max of three entries from each person, as long as each one is for a different story.

7) The entry will be judged mostly on plot and detail. However, proper grammar and spelling is appreciated.

8) ALL entries must have a link sent to me in a note to qualify.

9) Once it is sent to me, it is finalized, no sending edited versions, so look through it carefully.

And finally...

10) The end date of this contest will be October 11th. That's three whole months. Plenty of time to think of an idea, write the idea, and put any final touches on it before sending it in.

The winners will receive dedication credit when my stories are published, and the winning entry from each story will be incorporated into the actual story. So make sure it will be able to flow with the plot, here are the links to notes for my stories:

*NEW RULES*

(11) No adding characters you expect to play a major role in the story. 'Background' or minor supporting characters are acceptable, but please keep them to a minimum.

(12) No adding new concepts.

(13) No killing any characters.

(14) This is not a 'fan-fiction' contest, but a contest to see what people hope/think will happen later in the three stories. Side material is allowed, but please keep it as close to the main plot as possible.

(15) Please keep to the character as much as possible. Out of character moments can be overlooked as long as they are rare and small. ALL romances are considered out of character.


And just to clarify, the winning entries will not be pasted into the story directly, I will re-write it in my own style and make a few small changes where/when needed. I will add details or take away minor ones in the entries if necessary.
